Age Limit

If you are a woman under the age of 24 and are planning to travel to UAE on your own, your visa is likely to get rejected. In order to avoid this, you need to submit a letter from your parents or spouse along with your visa application. You can also submit the visa application of an older relative with your same last name along with yours. The person may or may not travel with you but his or her visa would act as a cover.

Newly Married Couples

Dubai is one of the favourite honeymoon destinations for several couples. However, if you are newly married, there are some extra documents you need to submit before you board your flight to this emirate city. You need to submit a wedding picture (of you and your spouse), marriage certificate and no objection certificate from your parents. If these are not submitted, your visa may get rejected.

Unskilled Professionals

If your visa application reveals your profession as labourer, farmer or any such unskilled profession, you would not be able to visit Dubai. Even people who have mentioned their occupation as service are unlikely to get a visa. Hence, it is best to avoid mentioning these unskilled professions in your application.

Handwritten and Invalid Passport

Your passport has to be an electronically printed one if you want to see your dream of seeing Dubai coming true. In case your passport is a handwritten one, your visa application would definitely be rejected. Apart from this, your passport should have a minimum validity of six months from the date of travel. If this is not met, you would not get Dubai visa approval.

Active Tourist or Employment Visa

In case you had applied for a tourist visa but never used it, you need to cancel it first before you apply for a new one. On the other hand, if a UAE company had got you an employment visa but you did not take up the job, the host company needs to get the visa cancelled before you apply for a new tourist visa. If the visa is not cancelled in both cases, you would not get a new visa, i.e. your visa application would get cancelled.

Residential Visa

If you were a holder of UAE resident visa but left the country without cancelling it, you would not be able to apply for a new visa. In this case, you have to ensure that your old residential visa is cancelled before you apply for a new one.

Criminal Record

Most countries in the world do not approve the visa application of people who have some kind of criminal record in their names. This stands true for UAE too. If you have a record of fraud, misconduct or any such criminal offence, your UAE visa application would be directly rejected. It is best to not apply for visa if you have such a record against your name.

Blurry Scanned Documents

You need to submit scanned copies of various documents along with your visa application form. Here, you have to make sure that the scanned copies are clear and not blurry. Blurred scanned documents can easily lead to rejection of your visa application. Make sure that the scanner you use is in perfect condition.

Errors in Visa Application Form

Rejection of UAE visa can happen if you have not filled your visa application form clearly. Hence, ensure that you fill your form without creating any mistakes, either factual or spelling ones. If you make mistakes in your name, passport number, profession code, date of birth, passport expiry date, etc., the embassy would definitely reject your visa. You need to ensure that you make no spelling or factual errors while filling the form. Double check everything before you submit your form.
