Ending the event with another superb fireworks display, the 2016 Dubai World Cup marked the close of Dubai 2016 racing season this Saturday evening. Considered the world’s richest horse race, the event never fails to attract the very best international and local talent from the world of horse racing while some of Dubai’s avid fashionistas also graced the Jaguar Style Stakes competition runway.

Proving to be the region’s most anticipated fashion event of the year, the Jaguar Style Stakes arena was once again buzzing with Dubai’s most stylish and creative men and women all competing to be voted the best in their category.

 

Best Dressed Lady Winner Shaleen Alena Cheah and the Jaguar F-TYPE Coupe...

Celebrating the best of racing fashion, judges AlAnoud Badr, founder of design label ‘Lady Fozaza’, Kim Fletcher, Melbourne-based milliner, Kate Hazell, Fashion Director at Esquire Middle East and Salman Sultan, Press Media Relations and Social Media Manager at Jaguar Land Rover MENA, spent a busy day on the prowl for Dubai’s most creative, unique, fashion forward and elegant competition entrants.

Focusing on men and women who stood out from the crowds, the Jaguar Style Stakes judging panel saw some of Dubai’s most captivating racegoers compete at this year’s event. Hand-picked from hundreds of Jaguar Style Stakes entrants, Nader Tearab was named the Best Dressed Man while Shaleen Alena Cheah was named the Best Dressed Lady. Pictured next to Jaguar’s award-winning F-TYPE Coupé sports cars, which they will have the use of for six months each, with Chris Wilde, Brand Director for Jaguar Land Rover MENA.

Additional prizes in other award categories were presented by Jaguar and additional sponsors including Longines, HTC, Meydan Hotels and Hospitality, The Track Meydan Golf, Thomas Pink, Diane Von Furstenberg, Marquee, The Nail Spa, Royal Fashion and Fragrance Du Bois.

Following an exciting day on the judging panel, Salman Sultan, Press Media Relations and Social Media Manager of Jaguar Land Rover MENA commented: “In my first year as a judge, I had my work cut out for me along with my fellow Jaguar Style Stakes judges. We were extremely impressed with the refreshing array of outfits, fashion and creativity that competitors brought with them to this year’s Dubai World Cup.
