ServeU organizes beach clean-up drive in support of Year of Zayed initiative

ServeU, the facilities management subsidiary of Union Properties, is set to hold a clean-up drive at the Umm Suqeim Beach on Thursday, March 22. The event, which will be participated in by some 60 employees of the company, will be held as part of ServeU’s CSR commitment to the , which focuses on sustainability as one of its key values.

Just like the great vision of His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy upon him, we believe that a society, to be called truly progressive, should benefit everyone, and this means protecting the environment to ensure the health of the people. This CSR undertaking is also parallel to our vision of pursuing continuous improvement by identifying opportunities that bring about positive change. Through this undertaking, we hope to nurture a culture of responsibility in nature protection and conservation,” said Mr. Sohail Ausaf, Chief Operations Officer, ServeU.
Mr. Ausaf added that the clean-up campaign, the first of its series of annual CSR initiatives, aims to raise awareness on the importance of protecting our environment as a vital component to improved living conditions. The company will also share best practices in order to educate the public on how to keep the sea water and beach coasts free of litter.
