The tweet storm started with Musk announcing Tesla’s upcoming unveiling of its highly-anticipated semi-truck:

After that, Musk revealed more of the company’s plans in a series of replies to other Twitter TWTR users.
So what did we learn today? Well, we got a rough timeline for Tesla’s semi-truck reveal. We’ve known that Tesla was working on a semi-truck, as Musk mentioned it in his second Master Plan, but the only real detail there was that the project was in “the early stages of development.”
It’s worth noting that Musk mentioned his semi-truck plans alongside his intentions to develop an electric high passenger-density urban vehicle, which we still don’t know much about.
Musk also came us a timeframe for the Tesla pickup truck—another project that was briefly mention in the Master Plan, Part Deux. We can also expect a convertible from Tesla eventually, and we will be getting the final details on the Model 3 this July.
